Clement, Sheppard to Speak at KTFMC Meeting

Meeting will take place April 7 at The Red Mile in Lexington.

The Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club announced March 31 that leading trainers Jonathan Sheppard and Christophe Clement will speak at the membership meeting at The Red Mile  in Lexington April 7. 

Hall of Fame trainer Jonathan Sheppard conditioned four-time Eclipse award-winning Steeplechaser Flatterer, the only winner of the American Steeplechase Triple Crown, as well as 2008 Emirates Airline Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (gr. I) winner Forever Together and 2009 Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (gr. I) winner and Eclipse champion Informed Decision.

Christophe Clement has conditioned more than 1,000 winners, including Gio Ponti , a dual Eclipse award winner in 2009, as well as additional grade I winners such as Forbidden Apple, In Summation , Mauralakana, Rutherienne, and Voodoo Dancer.
