Ballado Chieftan to Buffalo Creek in OK

Stakes-placed stallion is a son of Saint Ballado and half-brother to a millionaire.

Ballado Chieftan, a stakes-placed son of Saint Ballado, will stand in 2011 at Buffalo Creek Horse Ranch near Langley, Okla. The 10-year-old stallion formerly stood at Rockin BB Ranch in Oklahoma.

Ballado Chieftan has sired 10 winners, including stakes winner Infinite Chief and five-time winner Lady of Mischief.

Out of the Woodman mare Flaming Mirage, Ballado Chieftan is a half-brother to millionaire and Dubai grade I winner Kinsale King, who is by Saint Ballado’s son Yankee Victor.

A stud fee will be announced later.
