Table Games Approved at Hollywood Casino

Approval came following a successful eight-hour test day July 11.

Patrons at the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course will be able to play table games, effective July 13, after approval was granted by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The PGCB approval came following a successful eight-hour test day on Sunday, July 11 in which board officials reviewed operations as the public was invited to play in a $5 low-limit environment that served as the final dress rehearsal for full-scale games, according to the release.

"We were confident that we would receive approval, as our entire team has been diligent in their table games training," said vice president and general manager Frank Quigley. "We greatly appreciate that the P.G.C.B. has been so cooperative in helping to make this happen."

In addition to the table games, which will be available following July 13 morning ceremony, Hollywood Casino has 2,450 slot machines.
