Imperialism Sires First Winner

Son of three-time grade II winner wins by 8 1/4 lengths at Calder.

Grade II winner Imperialism, whose first winner won in Mexico, came up with his second winner when Master Dunker scored by 8 1/4 lengths at Calder Casino & Race Course Aug. 6. Campaigned by Get Away Farm Racing Stable, Master Dunker ran the six furlongs in 1:14.27 (VIDEO).

Stanley S. Moles is the breeder of Florida-bred Master Dunker, who is a half-brother stakes winner Image of Approval and is out of the winning Buckfinder mare Finding Bucks.

Imperialism’s first winner, Talavera, won at six furlongs in 1:14.20 for Cuadra Tayson July 30. Scott Francois is the breeder of the Florida-bred filly, who is out of the stakes-placed Bound by Honor mare Milady’s Honor.

A three-time grade II winner, Imperialism (Langfuhr --Bodhavista, by Pass the Tab) stands at Manuel Andrade’s Get Away Farm near Ocala, Fla. His 2010 fee was $5,000.
