Fasig-Tipton breaks new ground on Thursday March 3, when it unveils The Florida Sale at Palm Meadows Training Center in Palm Beach County. Beginning at 11:00 a.m., 240 juveniles will be offered in the continuous session auction,.
“Fasig-Tipton has been conducting the premier sale of two-year-olds in South Florida for over 50 years. We are thrilled to begin this new phase at Palm Meadows, which many consider to be the finest training facility in North America,” said company president Boyd Browning.
“The track, the barns and sales area in this setting in Palm Beach County will enable us to showcase to their best advantage the quality 2-year-olds we have put together for this catalogue,” added Browning. “At Palm Meadows, our buyers will find most of our regular Florida consignors. It is their horses which have gone on as racehorses to make the reputation this sale now enjoys. We are very excited at the depth and quality of the group of individuals we will offer this year.”
Sales horses will being arriving and training at Palm Meadows from February 15. The under-tack show will be held starting 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28. Catalogues for The Florida Sale may now be reviewed online and will be available from Fasig-Tipton’s offices from January 27.
