Four Mares Scanned in Foal to Discreetly Mine

Son of Mineshaft has full book at Lane's End Farm.

Lane’s End Farm has reported the first four mares have been scanned in foal to grade I winner Discreetly Mine. A 4-year-old son of Mineshaft  who won the grade I King’s Bishop Stakes last year, Discreetly Mine has a full book of mares for his inaugural season at Lane’s End, where he stands for a $15,000 fee.

One of the first mares scanned in foal to the stallion who had the highest Beyer speed figure last year for any 3-year-old at any distance is multiple stakes winner Pure Wool, the dam of grade I winner Pure As Gold and stakes-placed Pure American.

Another is Seasonal, a daughter of grade III stakes winner Cymbala, dam of multiple stakes winner and grade II-placed Stay Close and Canadian stakes-placed Catch Air.

So Very Happy, also in foal to Discreetly Mine, is a 4-year-old half sister to Platinum Couple, 2010 champion older horse in Ecuador, graded stakes winner Dance Away Capote, and stakes-placed Cavan Thunder.

Saucey Officer, a winning half sister to grade III winner Chiefofthetribe, stakes winner Daniel My Brother, and two stakes-placed runners, is also in foal to Discreetly Mine.
