Heiligbrodt Racing Stable's Lady Tak and Overbrook Farm's Perfect Wave will both be trying a longer game when the 3-year-old fillies put their unblemished records on the line in Sunday's $100,000 Tiffany Lass Stakes at Fair Grounds.

A competitive field of 10 has been entered in the one-mile Tiffany Lass, including stakes winners My Trusty Cat and Belle of Perintown.

Lady Tak, a daughter of Mutakddim, romped home in back-to-back wins at Churchill Downs, including an allowance win which produced the fastest six-furlong race of the meet.

Lady Tak made her stakes debut here in the Thelma Stakes on Jan. 4, and easily passed the test, cruising to a five-length victory. On Sunday, she will stretch out an additional two furlongs for trainer Steve Asmussen, who sent out Lake Lady to her first two-turn victory in last year's Thelma. Regular rider Donnie Meche will break from the No. 5 post under the 6-5 morning line favorite.

Perfect Wave stretches out for the first time in her stakes debut after two convincing wins for trainer Dallas Stewart.

A homebred daughter of Boston Harbor, Perfect Wave rated kindly just off the pace in her first start against winners at Fair Grounds, suggesting two turns should not be a problem.

Delta Princess queen My Trusty Cat made the entry box, but is still on the fence for trainer David Vance, who plans to ship down from a frozen Oaklawn Park.

The daughter of Tale of the Cat was third in the Golden Rod (gr. II) behind the promising My Boston Gal in her previous start. That followed a runner-up performance behind that same rival in an allowance race. My Trusty Cat has never finished off the board in six career starts.
