Peppers Pride Produces Distorted Humor Filly

The mare retired undefeated with 19 victories and this is her first live foal.

Peppers Pride, who retired undefeated with 19 wins, produced her first live foal, a chestnut Distorted Humor  filly, Feb. 19.

An 8-year-old daughter of Desert God, Peppers Pride finished first 13 times in added-money events and earned $1,066,085 before her racing career ended in 2008. She shares the modern American Thoroughbred record for most consecutive victories with 2010 Horse of the Year Zenyatta.

Peppers Pride, who is out of the Chili Pepper Pie mare Lady Pepper, has been bred back to Distorted Humor. Owned by her breeder, Joe Allen, and Michael Stinson, she is boarded at the Taylor family’s Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky.
