Two Work a Quarter in :20 2/5 at OBS

The final of four under tack shows was held April 15. The sale starts April 18.

A filly by Yonaguska and a colt by Macho Uno  worked quarters in :20 2/5 to post the fastest works at the distance at the fourth and final session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co.’s spring 2-year-olds-training sale.

The sale begins Monday, April 18th and runs through April 21. All sessions begin at 10:30 a.m.

Cameo Lady, is a dark bay or brown filly by Yonaguska consigned by Hoppel’s Horse and Cattle Co., agent, out of Kings Empress, by Kings Fiction. The gray or roan Macho Uno colt out of La Defense, by Wild Again, is consigned by de Meric Sales, as agent, and is a half brother to stakes winner Quelle Surprise.

A dark bay or brown colt by Tale of the Cat  consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent, worked a quarter in :20 3/5. Out of stakes placed Miss Thermal Tech, he’s a half brother to stakes winner Feeling Fancy.

Two horses consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, worked quarters in :20 4/5. A dark bay or brown filly by Dehere out of Leeward Passage, by Captain Bodgit, and is a half sister to stakes winner Right to Rule, and a chestnut filly by Henny Hughes out of stakes placed Mamboalot, by Kingmambo.

A gray or roan colt by Half Ours  consigned by Costanzo Sales, turned in the day’s fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5. Out of Piney Woods, by Valid Appeal, he’s a half brother to stakes placed My Limit. Nine youngsters worked eighths in :10 flat.

All the workouts were recorded and videos will be available, in their entirety or by individual hip number, the following day on the OBS website. They will also be available for viewing at the sales grounds and for in-room viewing at Ramada Inn, The Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton.
