Exclusive Quality Sires First Winner

Stakes winner Exclusive Quality sired his first winner from his first crop when his 2-year-old daughter Exclusively Maria scored at Calder Race Course June 25. Third in her other two starts Exclusively Maria set the pace in the 4 1/2-furlong race and won by six lengths in :53.17. She is trained by Bisnath Parboo.

Exclusively Maria, bred in Florida by David Wylie Perkins, is the fourth winner from four starters out of the winning Cure the Blues mare Going Away Blues.

Exclusive Quality (Elusive Quality—First Glimmer, by Glitterman) won the 2006 Spectacular Bid Stakes at Gulfstream Park and set a track-record for seven furlongs in an allowance race at Gulfstream. He stands for $4,000 at Brent and Crystal Fernung’s Journeyman Stud near Ocala, Fla.
