The Jockey Club has issued a reminder to stallion owners to submit their Reports of Mares Bred (RMBs) for the 2011 breeding season by Aug. 1.
“Timely submission of RMBs is the first step toward an efficient registration process for foals of 2012,” said Matt Iuliano, The Jockey Club’s executive vice president and executive director. “It also ensures that the breeding statistics by stallion that The Jockey Club publishes each fall for the industry’s benefit are as complete as possible.”
According to the breed registry, stallion owners who submit their RMBs by Aug. 1 are among the first to receive their Stallion Service Certificates.
Interactive registration is available at no charge for its registered users at registry.jockeyclub.com. Submission of RMBs via Interactive registration greatly reduces the delays associated with traditional mail and manual processing and can result in significantly shorter turnaround times for receipt of Stallion Service Certificates.
