Grade I Winner Toccet to Mighty Acres

Grade I winner by Awesome Again has sired 21 stakes horses.

Toccet, sire of 2011 graded stakes winner Ventana, has been purchased to stand at Mighty Acres near Pryor, Okla. The farm is owned by Dr. Warren Center and his wife, Linda. A fee will be announced later.

One of 21 stakes horses by Toccet, Ventana has won or placed in six graded stakes in his career. He captured last year’s Potrero Grande Handicap (gr. II) and this year’s Maryland Sprint Handicap (gr. III).

Toccet is represented this year by nine stakes horses.

Toccet’s other career stakes winners include Canadian graded winner Winning Machine, and 2011 stakes winners Hyperlink, Line Change, and She Be Classy.

Toccet was a leading 2-year-old of his year. He captured four graded stakes as a juvenile, including the Champagne Stakes (gr. I) and the Hollywood Futurity (gr. I). He was stakes winner at 3 and graded stakes-placed at 4. He earned $931,387.

The deal to stand Toccet at Mighty Acres was brokered by Chad Schumer Bloodstock. Toccet stood in 2011 at Dana Point Farm in Pennsylvania.
