Primary Suspect Sires First Winner

Primary Suspect's first winner triumphs at Louisiana Downs.

Primary Suspect, winner of the 2005 Toboggan Handicap (gr. III), sired his first winner when his son, Ranger Hill, scored by 1 3/4 lengths at six furlongs at Louisiana Downs July 30 for owner Mike Carson. Bred in  Louisiana by Steve Gillespie and C.F. Newman, Ranger Hill is out of the winning Fire Maker mare Clouds Hill, who is a half sister to two stakes winners.

Primary Suspect (Hennessy—Deb’s Honor, by Affirmed) stands at Bill McDowell’s McDowell Farm near Sparkman, Ark. His 2011 fee was $1,000.
