Kentucky auto dealer Frank Shoop has formed a sales alliance with Innovative Equine Marketing, and its Equine Savings program - a Georgetown, Ky., company led by Steve Andersen.
“We are pleased to enter into this partnership with the equine industry and look forward to becoming a trusted supplier. IEM has a great following and by combining our products and service with IEM’s relationships and knowledge this alliance should produce dividends for the Kentucky equine industry,” said Langdon Shoop, president of Frank Shoop in Georgetown, in a release. “We have a wide selection of vehicles which include our Chevrolet brand, Ram Trucks, Jeep, Buick, and Chrysler and will provide Cadillac and GMC products through a separate dealership.”
Under the partnership, Frank Shoop can establish fleet accounts for larger farms and facilities, as well as sell vehicles to individual industry participants at dealer invoice. All sales will generate sponsorship revenues for the Kentucky equine industry.
“We know times are tough, especially for those in the equine world, and we want everyone involved in Kentucky’s signature industry to know that our goal is to provide direct financial support when we’re given the opportunity to help with your vehicle needs,” added Shoop.
“Having an automotive partner with the integrity and track record of Frank Shoop enhances IEM’s easy to use program and is consistent with our commitment to support the equine industry,” said Steve Andersen, Founder of Equine Savings. This partnership will truly benefit the entire Kentucky equine community.”
“The Thoroughbred Industry has a friend in Frank Shoop. He is a former chairman of the Kentucky Racing Commission and as an active Thoroughbred owner Frank Shoop supports our industry. This partnership is just another way he shows it,” said Kentucky thoroughbred Executive Director David Switzer.
