War Front's Fee Jumps to $60,000

Arch stays at $30,000, and Blame will stand again for $35,000.

War Front , second on the second-crop sires’ list by progeny earnings, will stand in 2012 for $60,000, a jump of $45,000 from his 2011 fee of $15,000.

War Front, who stands at the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky., is represented this year by seven stakes winners and the earners of more than $2.7 million. This year's runners are led by grade I winners Summer Soiree and The Factor .

Pulpit, who stood for $50,000 in 2011, will stand for the same fee in 2012.

“We are committed to setting realistic stud fees and to capping the number of mares bred,” said Claiborne bloodstock manager Bernie Sams.
