Fasig-Tipton Company has announced that the Estate of Carl Lizza Jr.’s Flying Zee Stable, with Hidden Brook Farm as agent, will disperse the vast majority of its Thoroughbreds at auctions this fall and winter.
Phase I of the dispersal will begin with 40 yearlings being offered Oct. 26, the final day of Fasig-Tipton’s Kentucky Fall yearling sale in Lexington. A catalog addendum for these yearlings is currently online and print versions will be available Oct. 11 in Fasig-Tipton offices.
All of the yearlings being offered are registered New York-breds, with some of North America’s leading sires and New York-based stallion Western Expression represented.
Flying Zee has campaigned 2011 stakes winners Street Game and Pure Gossip, both graded winners, and Harbor Mist. Among the top 20 owners in 2011 based on North American earnings, Flying Zee Stable has been a major participant in the New York-bred program through its Highcliff Farm.
Phase II of the dispersal will include weanlings, broodmares, and horses of racing age, and will be offered at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic December mixed sale in Timonium, Md., on Dec. 5.
