Stoll Keenon Ogden, a prominent Kentucky law firm, will be the presenting sponsor of the 2011 Breeders’ Cup post position draw luncheon at Churchill Downs Oct. 31, the Breeders’ Cup announced.
Post positions for all 15 of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships' races, which have purses of $26 million, will be drawn at 1 p.m. (EST) in the Millionaires Row dining room at the Kentucky racetrack. The draw will be streamed live on www.breederscup.com. The races will be run Nov. 4 and 5 at Churchill.
“Stoll Keenon Ogden has played an extremely valuable role as partners with the Breeders’ Cup since our early years,” said Breeders’ Cup president and CEO Craig Fravel in a statement released Oct. 13. “We greatly appreciate their new sponsorship with us for this year’s Championships and their longstanding commitment to the Thoroughbred industry.”
This is the second racing sponsorship for Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2011. The firm was the signature sponsor of Keeneland's historic Phoenix Stakes (gr. III) Oct. 7.
