Offlee Wild to Pin Oak Lane in Pennsylvania

His champion daughter She Be Wild won the BC Juvenile Fillies.

Grade I winner Offlee Wild, the sire of champion She Be Wild, has been moved to Dr. William Solomon’s Pin Oak Lane Farm near New Freedom, Pa., from Sheikh Mohammed’s Darley near Lexington. The 11-year-old son of Wild Again will stand in 2012 fee for $4,000.

Offlee Wild was the leading sire of 2-year-olds by progeny earnings as a freshman sire in 2009. She Be Wild, winner of that year’s Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I), was voted champion 2-year-old filly. She Be Wild earned a career total of $1,355,540.

From three crops of racing age, Offlee Wild has sired 13 stakes horses and the earners of more than $5.2 million. His added-money winners include Heavenville, who has won or placed in 10 stakes, and 2011 stakes winners Hogy and Local.

“Offlee Wild, having already sired 13 stakes horses and with lifetime progeny earnings in excess of $5.2 million from three crops to race, will be a very important asset to the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred breeding industry,” Solomon said.

Offlee Wild, who is out of the Seattle Slewmare Alvear, won the 2005 Suburban Handicap (gr. I) and was a graded winner two other years.
