Tiz West to Stand at River Oaks in Oklahoma

His dam's full brother Tiznow won consectuve runnings of the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Graded stakes winner Tiz West, whose dam is a full sister to Horse of the Year and major sire Tiznow , will stand at River Oaks Farm near Sulphur, Okla. His 2012 fee is $2,000 live foal.

A 6-year-old son of Gone West, Tiz West experienced his best year as a 3-year-old, winning the 2008 Cinema Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Hollywood Park and the La Puente Stakes on turf at Santa Anita. At 4 he placed in the Harry F. Brubaker Stakes on grass at Del Mar. He was retired with eight top-three finishes from 26 starts and earnings of $263,761.

Tiz West’s dam, Tizso (by Cee's Tizzy), not only is a full sister to two-time Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Tiznow but also to grade II winners Budroyale and Tizdubai.
