Whywhywhy to Stand in South Korea

Son of Mr. Greeley sired Breeders' Cup winner Nownownow.

Grade I winner Whywhywhy has been sold to a Korean syndicate to stand at Jeju Stallion Station in South Korea. He formerly stood at Antony Beck’s Gainesway Farm near Lexington.

Whywhywhy (Mr. Greeley--Thorough Fair, by Quiet American) has sired 18 stakes horses. His nine stakes winners include grade II and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf winner Nownownow, plus grade III winner Ikigai.

Whywhywhy was a leading 2-year-old of 2002, winning three graded stakes including the Futurity Stakes (gr. I) for trainer Patrick Biancone and fellow owner Fabien Ouaki. Graded stakes placed at 3, he exited racing with earnings of $315,015.
