F-T Offers Comprehensive Online Entry Process

The first sale it can be used for is the 2012 Kentucky winter mixed auction.

Fasig-Tipton has expanded the online entry process on its website (www.fasigtipton.com) to make it more comprehensive. The first sale to benefit from this change will be the company’s Kentucky winter mixed auction, which is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2012 in Lexington. Entries for the sale will close Dec. 9.

Customers can choose between submitting entries on the current consignors’ contract or completing the whole process, including the payment of entry fees, online.

“Many of the nominations for our selected sales are now submitted electronically,” said Vicki Cooper, Fasig-Tipton’s executive sales coordinator, “and our consignors are familiar with the log-in process which precedes online entries.

“The system moves through the entry process as the various fields are completed. All Thoroughbred data is automatically checked against The Jockey Club’s data base at entry time and there is a final option to pay entry fees by credit card or through an electronically-generated invoice.

“This new part of the website is very user-friendly,” Vicki added, “but there will always be a real person at the end of a phone line to walk (the customer) through the process and answer any questions which may arise.”
