Street Hero Sires First Winner

Street Hero filly wins first time out by 5 1/4 lengths.

Grade I winner Street Hero came through with his first winner when his juvenile daughter Street Magic won April 22 at Calder Race Casino & Race Course in her initial outing. A Monarch Stables homebred, Street Magic drew off to win the 4 1/2-furlong race by 5 1/4 lengths in :54.09.

Street Magic is the sixth winner from six foals of racing age out of the Numerous mare Choral Belle, who is a half sister to stakes winner Boxford Village.

Street Hero (Street CrySquall Linda, by Summer Squall) won the Norfolk Stakes (gr. I) and ran third in the Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I) and the Del Mar Futurity (gr. I). He stands at Tom Simon’s Vinery near Lexington.
