Pathfork to Highlands in South Africa

Champion colt won Ireland's group I National Stakes at 2.

Irish champion Pathfork has been purchased to stand at stud at the Beck family’s Highlands Stud Farm in South Africa. The 4-year-old son of Distorted Humor  will stand for a syndicate.

Pathfork was Ireland’s champion 2-year-old male of 2010, winning all three races, including the Vincent O’Brien National Stakes (Ire-I) and the Galileo E. B. F. Futurity (Ire-II).  He started three other times and was retired with earnings of $237,871.

Bred in Kentucky by the Niarchos family’s Flaxman Holdings Limited, Pathfork is out of French stakes winner Visions of Clarity. By Sadler's Wells, Visions of Clarity is a half sister to European champion and Breeders’ Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner Spinning World.
