Malibu Moonshine Moves to Peekskill Farm

Son of Malibu Moon will remain at stud at New York farm for 2013 as well.

Malibu Moonshine, a seven-time stakes winner by Malibu Moon , has moved to Peekskill Farm in Sharon Springs, NY, for the remainder of the 2012 breeding season. He will stand there for the 2013 season as well.

Malibu Moonshine, out of the Coastal mare Time to Coast, won stakes races each year from 2 through 6. He also had wins in both his 7- and 8 year-old seasons. As a 3-year-old in 2005, he won the Federico Tesio, Miracle Wood, and Private Terms stakes. In 2008, Malibu Moonshine captured the Stymie Handicap.

The chestnut retired to stud with 12 wins from 62 starts earnings of $597,370. He was previously standing at Avon and Stillwater in Avon, NY.

His 2012 stud fee is $3,000.
