The Betfair Hollywood Park Players Lounge, a new top of the line customer hospitality venue, will officially open July 6 at with a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration scheduled from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. PDT.
The opening is expected to attract prominent racing industry figures who will join Betfair Hollywood Park, TVG Betfair staff, and key account holders. The lounge’s opening will be part of the festivities for Hollywood Gold Cup weekend.
The Betfair Hollywood Park Players Lounge, located near the third floor box seat area, is inspired by its namesake at England’s Ascot Racecourse. The Betfair Hollywood Park Players Lounge offers patrons modern, well-appointed surroundings, contemporary enhanced food and beverage options, access to state-of-the-art technologies including wide screen HD TVs, and wagering via betting terminals or tellers. From a historical perspective, the Betfair Hollywood Park Players’ Lounge will serve as the track’s first public Wi-Fi Internet location.

Betfair and Hollywood Park entered into a historic sponsorship and marketing agreement last March. The agreement’s centerpiece is the first-ever naming rights deal for a U.S. racing venue. In addition, TVG now produces the track’s simulcast signal which has been transformed in a number of ways, most notably through the introduction of state-of-the-art graphics.
