Cat Dreams to Trifecta Trace in Indiana

Son of Storm Cat has sired multiple grade II stakes winner Caracortado.

Cat Dreams, sire of grade II winner Caracortado, and other stallions Dr Large  and Storm Account will stand in 2013 at Ryan Campbell's Trifecta Trace at Hartmeyer Stables near Muncie, Ind. All three are owned by Tom Roche.

Caracortado, a 5-year-old, has won five stakes including the Del Mar Mile Handicap (gr. IIT), the Robert B. Lewis Stakes (gr. II), and this year's Daytona Stakes (gr. IIIT).

Cat Dreams, an 11-year-old son of Storm Cat out of grade II winner J J'sdream (by Glitterman), also is the sire of stakes-placed Real Dream and Thelifeoftheparty. His career progeny earnings are more than $2.2 million.

Cat Dreams, who formerly stood at Still Creek Farm near Brookville, Ind., will stand for $2,000.

Dr Large, whose 2013 fee also is $2,000, won the Capital City Stakes on grass and finished third in the Kent Stakes (gr. IIIT). By A.P. Indy, he is out of the winning Mr. Prospector mare Debit Account and is a full brother to graded stakes winner Lomaki. Dr Large formerly stood at Lake Shore Farms near Scottsburg, Ind.

Storm Account, also by Storm Cat, is out of the stakes-winning Private Account mare Private Line and is a half brother to French group winner Dance Dress, the dam of two-time Santa Anita Park grade II winner Costume.

Storm Account's first foals are 2-year-olds, and two of them have placed. Storm Account, who formerly stood at Indian Hills Thoroughbred Farm near Edwardsville, Ill., will stand in 2013 fee for $1,500.
