Kipling to Stand at Mighty Acres

Kipling, sire of 2007 NetJets Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner Kip Deville, will stand in 2013 at Dr. Warren Center's Mighty Acres near Pryor, Okla. A fee will be announced later. Kipling, who most recently stood at Pope McLean's Crestwood Farm near Lexington, had stood at Mighty Acres in the mid-2000s.

Kip Deville raced from 2 through 6, winning a total of four grade I stakes. He earned $3,325,489.

Kipling, a 16-year-old son of Gulch--Weekend Storm, by Storm Bird, has sired 17 stakes horses and the earners of more than $8.6 million. His eight stakes winners also include Dreamsandvisions, Lord Kipling, and Taylor Madison, all of which have earnings of more than $340,000.
