Mobil, Lunarpal to Mapleton in Ohio

Canadian champion Mobil has sired three stakes winners this year.

Canadian champion Mobil  and multiple graded stakes winner Lunarpal have been relocated for stallion duty to Mapleton Thoroughbred Farm near Polk, Ohio. Mapleton is owned by Dr. George Sikora, Dr. John Bryk, and Dr. Terry Ochterski.

Twelve-year-old Mobil (Langfuhr —Kinetigal, by Naskra) is represented by 2012 stakes winners Hard to Be Humble, Lucky Melissa, and Welloiledmachine. Mobil, who formerly stood at Schonberg Farm in Ontario, Canada, has sired 11 stakes horses and the earners of more than $5.5 million. His fee is $2,500.

Lunarpal, whose graded wins came at Churchill Downs at 2, has sired six stakes horses including 2012 stakes winner I Dare U Em. He has career progeny earnings of more than $1.3 million.

Ten-year-old Lunarpal, who formerly stood at Le Mesa Stallions in Louisiana, will stand for $2,000.

A 10-year-old son of Successful Appeal , Lunarpal is out of the Quiet American mare Quiet Eclipse, whose three other stakes winners including grade III winner Astrology .
