El Roblar to Winner-Maker in Colorado

El Roblar's freshman crop includes 2-year-old stakes winner Lewiston.

Multiple graded stakes winner El Roblar has been relocated to Winner-Maker Farm near Kiowa, Colo. His 2013 fee is $1,000. The farm is owned by veterinarian Woody Smith and his wife, Robin. El Roblar formerly stood at Dennis Weir's farm in Arizona.

El Roblar (War Chant--Screamer, by Roanoke) won three stakes including the Ack Ack Handicap (gr. III) and the Inglewood Handicap (gr. IIIT). He earned $389,646.

Ten-year-old El Roblar is represented by three 2-year-old winners this year from his first crop. The group includes Lewiston, winner of the ATBA Fall Sales Stakes.

The Smiths also will be standing French stakes winner Barricade, who has sired 10 stakes horses and the earners of more than $1.2 million. Nineteen-year-old Barricade (Riverman--Balleta, by Lyphard) formerly stood at Fleming Thoroughbred Farm in Arizona.
