Stakes-winning mare is part of Fares Farm Dispersal selling at Keeneland January.

WinStar Farm purchased Lunarlady, a stakes-winning daughter of Yes It's True, for $310,000 early on the second day of the Keeneland January horses of all ages sale Jan. 8 in Lexington.

Lunarlady also had two foals sell at Keeneland January on Jan. 8 as part of the Fares Farm dispersal. Her newly turned yearling filly sold for $95,000 to Indian Creek, agent. Her winning, newly turned 3-year-old filly by Curlin sold for $42,000 to Len Schermer.

"Her 3-year-old Curlin  filly Lady of Luck is a winner and Kellyn Gorder trained it. I talked to Kellyn and he really liked her," said WinStar president Elliott Walden. "We like that she's in foal to Congrats."
