TVG Launches Promotional Campaign

Network touts its contributions to the industry since founding July 1, 1999.

TVG has launched a promotional campaign titled "TVG Good For The Game," that includes testimonials delivered by several prominent members of the racing industry.

The campaign, which is featured on the company's website,, touts the network's contributions to the industry since its founding July 1, 1999. In the campaign, TVG says it has contributed more than $700 million to "racing industry partners" (tracks, breeders, owners, trainers, etc.). Also, TVG said that between August 2011 and September 2012, its in-house charitable arm "TVG Cares" supported racing industry causes with free air-time that had a value of $275,000.

"TVG is proud of the fact that since our launch we have become a major racing industry partner, both as a link between racing fans and the sport, and as a significant industry revenue generator," said Don Scott, TVG's vice president of marketing, in a press release. "This campaign offers an opportunity to highlight the role we have played within the industry and affirms our commitment to expanding that role in the future."

Included in the campaign are testimonials from trainer Dale Romans, West Point Thoroughbreds president Terry Finley, California horse owner and breeder Madeline Auerbach, and Mike Maloney, vice president of the Horseplayers Association of North America.
