Three Chimneys Buys Brazilian Group I Winner

Three-year-old filly Antonella Baby to continue to race in Brazil for new owners.

Three Chimneys Farm has purchased 3-year-old filly Antonella Baby, winner of last month's GP Henrique Possollo (Brz-I), the first leg of the Brazilian Triple Crown for fillies, it was announced March 8.

Antonella Baby's previous stakes victories include two wins as a 2-year-old in the GP J. Adhemar de Almeida Prado (Brz-III) and the GP Carlos Telles e Carlos Gilberto da Rocha Faria (Brz-II). She was previously owned by Stud Santa Rosa de Lima.

By Japanese sire Agnes Gold, a son of Sunday Silence, Antonella Baby is out of the Brazilian Candy Stripes mare On Your Own and is a half sister to Brazilian group II winner Serelepe.

Antonella Baby was entered March 8 as the favorite for the GP Diana Stud TNT (Brz-I), also known as the Brazillian Oaks, the second leg of the Brazillian Triple Crown for fillies.

"We're pleased to have a filly of her caliber running in the Three Chimneys colors," said Case Clay. "We are looking forward to eventually bringing her to the U.S. to race."
