Michigan Owner/Breeder Judith Worline Dies

Judith Worline of Michigan bred three stakes winners including Akatsakat.

Successful Michigan owner/breeder Judith Worline died March 9 after a lengthy illness. She was 75.

Worline, of Plainwell, Mich., bred stakes winners Out With a Bang and I Match Too, plus Akatsakat, who was bred in the name Woodlane Farm and was a Michigan champion. She bred, raised, and raced Thoroughbreds for 24 years.

Worline is survived by her husband, Robert Worline, as well as by a son, Matt, and a daughter Erin Gorham, wife of trainer Robert Gorham.
