Pletcher's Kentucky Oaks Trio on Worktab

Dreaming of Julia, Unlimited Budget, Silsita work after renovation break April 14.

Dreaming of Julia, 21 3/4-length winner of the Gulfstream Park Oaks (gr. II), led a trio of Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) contenders worked by trainer Todd Pletcher at Churchill Downs the morning of April 14.

The three fillies worked following the morning renovation break.

Stonestreet Stables homebred Dreaming of Julia breezed a half-mile in :49 and recorded fractions of :12 4/5, :24 2/5, and :36 3/5. She galloped out five furlongs in 1:02 1/5, according to the clockers. The four-furlong time ranked 15th of 43 at the distance.

It was the first workout for the daughter of A.P. Indy since her shattering win in the March 30 Gulfstream Park Oaks.

"I thought she looked great and thought she handled the surface really well," Pletcher said. "It was a typical breeze for her. She looked like she was in a gallop, but she went in :49. We were very happy with it. Her appetite and energy level have been great since that big performance at Gulfstream."

Unlimited Budget, undefeated winner of the Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. II), and Silsita, who narrowly won the Bourbonette Oaks (gr. III), worked together. They breezed four furlongs in :48 3/5 while recording early fractions of :13 1/5 and :25 3/5.

Unlimited Budget galloped out five furlongs in 1:01 4/5, and Silsita galloped out in 1:02. The four-furlong time ranked 10th of 43 at the distance.

"I think both worked very well, especially Unlimited Budget," Pletcher said. "She seems like she really likes the surface here and was full of run throughout the run."

Dreaming of Julia worked under Humberto Zamora; Unlimited Budget was guided by Patti Krotenko; and Silsita worked under Nick Bush.

Grade I winner Dreaming of Julia comes into the Oaks with four wins from six starts and earnings of $767,000.

Repole Stable's Unlimited Budget, a Street Sense  filly, has won all four of her starts, three of them in graded stakes, while banking $610,200.

Silsita, a two-time winner from four starts for Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Tanourin Stable, is a daughter of Macho Uno .
