Significant Bling Ohio Horse of the Year

She is the first 2-year-old filly to win the award, which was launched 49 years ago.

Significant Bling, bred and owned by Blazing Meadows Farm, is the first 2-year-old filly to be voted Ohio horse of the year in the 49 years of the award.

Trained by Tim Hamm, who owns Blazing Meadows Farm, Significant Bling won all four of her 2012 starts, including the $100,000 Mountaineer Juvenile Fillies Stakes. The Ohio-bred filly by Too Much Bling  was later disqualified from the purse money for her debut maiden win at Thistledown.

Significant Bling made her 2013 debut April 6 with a victory in the restricted Royal North Stakes at Beulah Park.
