Will Take Charge also works May 30 in preparation for June 8 Belmont Stakes.

Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner Oxbow , stablemate Will Take Charge , and Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) runner-up Golden Soul all turned in preparations for the June 8 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) on the morning of May 30 at Churchill Downs.
 
Oxbow and Will Take Charge both went six furlongs for Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Oxbow, a son of Awesome Again  owned by Calumet Farm, clocked the distance in 1:14 3/5 from the 5 1/2-furlong pole with splits of :24 1/5, :35 4/5, :47 3/5, and 1:00 3/5. He galloped out seven panels in 1:29 2/5.
 
Willis Horton's Rebel Stakes (gr. II) winner Will Take Charge, an Unbridled's Song colt who last ran seventh in the May 18 Preakness, was timed in 1:15 4/5 from the 5 1/2-furlong pole. Splits were :12 4/5, :24 3/5, :37 2/5, and :50 2/5, with a seven-furlong gallop out in 1:30 3/5.
 
Golden Soul, breezing for trainer Dallas Stewart for the first time since his Derby run, went five panels in 1:00 2/5 while recording splits of :12 1/5, :24 3/5, :36 4/5, and :48 3/5. Charles Fipke's homebred son of Perfect Soul  galloped out six furlongs in 1:13 1/5 and up seven in 1:28.
