The Belmont Stakes Charity Celebration will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at New York's Bar Americain and will feature "The Foods of Bobby Flay," owner of Bar Americain, celebrity chef, and Breeders' Cup-winning Thoroughbred owner.
As part of the festivities, an auction will be held offering 2014 stallion seasons to Animal Kingdom  , Ghostzapper  , Kitten's Joy  , and Mineshaft  . Guests will also be able to bid on several luxurious travel and entertainment experiences. To view the list of auction items click here.
This week an additional item was added to the auction list when Prince Khalid Abdullah donated a halter belonging to undefeated 2012 European Horse of the Year Frankel, Juddmonte Farms' homebred son of Galileo.
All proceeds will benefit the Grayson Jockey-Club Research Foundation and the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.
In recognition of his efforts and influence in support of Thoroughbred racehorse welfare, safety, and retirement, Flay has been selected as the 2013 recipient of the TRF's annual Earle I. Mack Thoroughbred Champion Award. He will be honored during the charity celebration.
Bar Americain is located at 152 W. 52nd Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in New York City.
