NYRA.com, official website of The New York Racing Association, has been recognized for outstanding achievement in the Entertainment category of the 2013 Interactive Media Awards.
Nominations for the IMA are accepted from all over the world from web design companies, advertising agencies, and corporate marketing departments, as well as individual web designers, graphic artists, and others.
IMA judges are leaders in web design, advertising, public relations, publishing, news, and other industries. They evaluate websites based on five different criteria: design, content, feature functionality, usability, and standards compliance. In order to win an IMA, a nominated website must be judged to have excelled in each criterion.
NYRA.com was created by NYRA and Americaneagle.com, Inc., a leading web design, development, and hosting company based in Des Plaines, Ill.
"We are delighted to be recognized by the IMA, an organization dedicated to identifying online excellence," said NYRA chief marketing officer Rodnell Workman. "Our objective was to combine design and technology to deliver an intuitive display of relevant information for racing fans, handicappers, and horsemen. I am proud of our internal team, which worked closely with Americaneagle.com to develop the new NYRA.com."
