Shadwell Stud Launches Facebook Page

The international breeding and racing operation will update fans via social media.

new Facebook page has been launched as part of Shadwell Stud's recent project to develop its online presence, the international breeding and racing operation announced July 5.

According to a release, the new page will not only feature information about the Shadwell stallions, but will also mention activities at the stud and events that the company sponsors. The first major post shows the Dubai Racing Channel filming on site at the prestigious Nunnery Stud in Norfolk, England.

In addition to regular news stories, the page also features links to Shadwell's YouTube channel where stallion videos can be viewed, and to the farm's Twitter feed, which currently has 2,400 followers.
Shadwell is owned by Sheikh Hamdan. In the U.S. his Shadwell Farm near Lexington stands Albertus Maximus , Daaher , Intidab, Invasor, Jazil, and Mustanfar .
