NYRA to Host Saratoga Public Forum Aug. 26

Senior management to be available to answer questions at racing Hall of Fame museum.

The New York Racing Association will host a public forum Aug. 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame on 191 Union Avenue, across the street from Saratoga Race Course.

Members of NYRA senior management will be among those in attendance.

Topics to be addressed include the Whitney Viewing Stand that was unveiled Aug. 1 and the "Saratoga 150" celebration. Questions from the public on other topics will also be addressed.

The session will provide the public an opportunity to discuss topics of interest in an open setting. The town hall-style meeting will start with a brief introduction, followed by a moderated question-and-answer discussion with the panel.

Members of the public wishing to attend must RSVP at nyra.com/publicforum in advance of the session as space is limited to 125 people.

An agenda will be presented in advance of the session.

"The public forum is an opportunity for anyone interested in or affected by the Saratoga Race Course meet to ask questions and share thoughts," said Eric Wing, director of communications and media relations for NYRA. "We anticipate an open and frank discussion."
