Chris Kay Elected to NTRA Board of Directors

Newest member joined the New York Racing Association as president and CEO in June.

Chris Kay, chief executive officer and president, of the New York Racing Association, has been elected to the board of directors of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association.

Kay's election was announced following the organization’s third quarter board meeting Aug. 9 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Kay joined NYRA in June.   

The NTRA is a broad-based coalition of horse racing interests consisting of leading Thoroughbred racetracks, owners breeders, trainers, horseplayers and affiliated horse racing associations. It is charged with increasing the popularity of horse racing and improving economic conditions for industry participants.
