A colt by War Front   out of a full sister to the dam of Departing was sold for $1 million as the second seven-figure horse at the first session of the Keeneland September yearling sale Sept. 9 in Lexington.

Consigned by the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm, the colt featured in a video was purchased by Coolmore Stud's M. V. Magnier.

The colt emanates from a strong Claiborne family and was produced from the winning Pulpit mare Guide. The second dam, stakes winner Tour, produced multiple grade III winner Trip and stakes winners Laity and Joke, the latter the dam of grade I winner Zensational. Tour is also the dam of Leave, who produced multiple graded winner Departing, also a son of War Front who won the Sept. 7 Super Derby (gr. II) and now has earnings of $1,379,500.
