Hello Broadway Sires First Winner

Tiz Showbiz won at Delaware Park Sept. 30 to be first winner for sire Hello Broadway

Tiz Showbiz was the first winner for Hello Broadway with his Sept. 30 win in the first race at Delaware Park, a maiden claiming event.

Daniel Centeno rode Tiz Showbiz, who chased the pace three wide before gaining an advantage. After engaging in a stretch drive with Word Racer, Tiz Showbiz held on to win by a nose. Final time for the six furlong dirt sprint was 1:12.23.

Tiz Showbiz was bred in Florida by his owner, Porter Racing Stable. Randy Nunley trains the bay gelding, who was produced out of Valley Queen, a daughter of Peaks and Valleys.

A homebred runner for Elizabeth J. Valando, Barclay Tagg trained Hello Broadway, who was twice graded stakes-placed.

A 7-year-old son of Broken Vow , Hello Broadway is out of  the Storm Cat mare, Nightstorm.

Hello Broadway stands at Ups and Downs Farm near Citra, Fla. His 2013 stud fee was $3,000.
