Indiana Stallion Station Announces Open House

Indiana Stallion Station, near Anderson, announced its first annual Stallion Show and Open House to be held Oct. 12 starting at 1 p.m. EDT.
There will be free food all day long and a band starting at 5 p.m. Prizes will be given away every half hour, as well as one free season to each of the stallions at the conclusion of the stallion show at 3 p.m.
The Indiana breeding program incentives include bonuses of 20% of the total purse, including supplements, for every win by a registered Indiana-bred in races of $10,000 claiming or higher, held at a licensed pari-mutuel track in Indiana.
Breeders also receive a bonus of 10% of the winner's purse share in flat races $10,000 claiming or higher in another state or Canada when tracks have no live Thoroughbred meets in progress in Indiana; on stakes races held anytime during the year; and on 2-year-old races held before July 1.
Indiana Stallion Station stands perennial top Indiana stallion Domestic Dispute  , who is the sire of 2013 stakes winners Daydreamin Gracie and Fersmiley; Mustanfar  , a multiple graded stakes-winning son of Unbridled; multiple graded stakes-winning sprinter Ventana; Dr. Large, the only only stakes-winning son of A.P. Indy standing in Indiana; Storm Cat son Storm Account; Heat Shimmer, the only son of Malibu Moon   standing in Indiana; and Quarter Given, a winning son of Elusive Quality   and half brother to Breeder's Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Pleasantly Perfect.
Indiana Stallion Station will also have mares in foal and Indiana-bred weanlings and yearlings available for inspection and sale.
