Chitoz Represented by First Winner

Lets Suppose scores at Remington Park in a one-mile maiden claiming race.

Chitoz had his first winner Oct. 11 when Lets Suppoze posted a victory in his third start in the seventh race at Remington Park (VIDEO).

The 2-year-old gelding began his bid leaving the far turn. Going four wide headed into the stretch, Lets Suppoze responded to urging of jockey Belen Quinonez to take the lead in the stretch. He won gamely by a head in the one-mile dirt maiden claiming event, hitting the wire in 1:40.73.

Bred in Texas by Eureka Thoroughbred Farm, Lets Suppoze is out of Bin Sweet, by Binalong. The bay gelding is trained by Francisco Bravo for owner Michael Grossman.

Chitoz was bred in Kentucky by owners Wertheimer et Frere. A winner of the 2008 Anderson Fowler Stakes at Monmouth Park, Chitoz was runner-up in the 2007 Kentucky Cup Juvenile Stakes (gr. III) at Turfway Park, and the 2008 Gilded Time Stakes at Monmouth.

An 8-year-old son of Forest Wildcat, Chitoz is out of  Wichitoz, a daughter of  Triple Crown winner Affirmed.

Chitoz stands at River Oaks Farm near Sulpher, Okla. His fee for the 2013 breeding season was $2,000.
