Twenty-four hours after the Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita Park, the race results were casting a bright glow at the Fasig-Tipton November and Keeneland November mixed sales in Lexington.
Both auction houses (and a number of their consignors) are likely to reap benefits from some of the better Breeders' Cup performances as either the runners themselves or their close relatives head to the sale ring at Fasig-Tipton Nov. 4 and at Keeneland Nov. 5-14.
Champion Groupie Doll provided Keeneland's biggest update when she captured the Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I), by a half-length overJudy the Beauty. Groupie Doll, a 5-year-old Bowman's Band mare out of Deputy Doll (Silver Deputy), also won the race in 2012 en route to championship honors as North America's top female sprinter. Groupie Doll heads to auction Nov. 6 as hip 350. She's selling in Trackside Farm's consignment.
Judy the Beauty finished second to Groupie Doll, and one of her siblings is cataloged this week at Keeneland. The Sweezey and Partners agency is offering an 8-year-old half sister, the winning Red Bullet mare Singing Sister, in foal to Golden Missile, as hip 2905.
Already a star in Fasig-Tipton's catalog, Mizdirection only added to her value with a repeat win in the Turf Sprint (gr. IT). She goes through the auction ring at Newtown Paddocks as hip 104 with Three Chimneys Sales. Distaff (gr. I) third-place finisher Authenticity also goes under the hammer in the Three Chimneys consignment at Fasig-Tipton the evening of Nov. 4. She sells as hip 206.
Blake-Albina Thoroughbred Services quickly entered a Tapit   weanling to the Fasig-Tipton sale after her half brother, Mucho Macho Man  , scored a popular victory in the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I). The gray or roan filly, hip 222, is out of the stakes-winning Ponche mare Ponche de Leona.
Fasig-Tipton also will sell Missy Turtle, the dam of Juvenile runner-up Havana, not currently in foal, as part of the Brookdale agency's consignment. She is hip 102.
The Juvenile Turf (gr. It) results also have a Fasig-Tipton connection; hip 27 is Dancing Trieste, dam of Juvenile turf runner-up Giovanni Boldini. The Select Sales agency consigns her in foal to The Factor  , meaning she's carrying a three-quarters sibling to the Breeders' Cup winner.
Repeat Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner Wise Dan set himself up well to defend his Horse of the Year title, and he also added even more punch to Keeneland November nominee hip 114. That's his 8-year-old half sister Courting Elaine, a winner by Doneraile Court. Adena Springs offers her in foal to their stallion Ghostzapper  .
An unraced half sister to Mile runner-up Za Approval, the High Fly mare Highest Approval, also is cataloged in foal to Midnight Lute  . She sells at Keeneland as hip 1129 in the Four Star Sales consignment.
Keeneland also offers the dam of Sprint (gr. I) winner Secret Circle  , as well as runner-up Laugh Track himself. Laugh Track, a 4-year-old by Distorted Humor  , is cataloged through WinStar Racing as a racing or stallion prospect and sells as hip 2827. WinStar Racing also has consigned his 3-year-old half brother by Tiznow  , Saint X., as a racing or stallion prospect. The colt is a winner and is offered as hip 2736. Secret Circle's dam, a Dixieland Band stakes-winner named Ragtime Hope, sells through the Indian Creek agency. She is cataloged as hip 835, in foal to Arch.
Also at Keeneland, Three Chimneys offers Cho Cho Cat, a 5-year-old half sister to Marathon(g. II) second Blueskiesnrainbows  . She's a stakes-winner herself and is cataloged as hip 601 as a broodmare prospect.
St. George Sales, agent, consigns the Marathon's third-place finisher, Worldly, to the Keeneland November auction. Listed as hip 2423, the 6-year-old A. P. Indy horse is cataloged as a racing or stallion prospect. Taylor Made Sales has another relative: hip 1756, Worldly's 4-year-old three-quarters sister, the winner Urbanini. She is a daughter of Bernardini  .
Tightend Touchdown and Reneesgotzip dead-heated for second in the Turf Sprint (gr. IT). Tightend Touchdown's 7-year-old half sister, the Put It Back mare Sweetasnails, will sell at Keeneland for owner/consignor Bruce Waltermire. She is offered as a broodmare prospect selling as hip 3325.
Fasig-Tipton's single-session November sale begins at 4 p.m. ET Nov. 4 at Newtown Paddocks in Lexington. Keeneland's November auction begins the following morning and runs through Nov. 15, with sessions starting each day at 10 a.m.ET  in the Keeneland sale pavilion.
