Alternation to Stand for $7,500 at Pin Oak

Recently retired multiple graded stakes winner moves to farm near Versailles, Ky.

Josephine Abercrombie's Versailles, Ky.-based Pin Oak Stud announced that the 2014 stud fee for the recently retired multiple graded stakes-winning millionaire Alternation  will be $7,500 live foal, stands and nurses.

"We are pleased to offer this son of Distorted Humor  from one of Ms. Abercrombie's most successful families," said farm manager Clifford Barry in a release. "He is very attractive and is being well-received."

The fees for the other Pin Oak Stallions with the 2013 fees in parentheses are: Broken Vow , $25,000 ($25,000), Cowboy Cal $5,000 ($7,500), and Sky Classic $7,500 ($7,500), all on a stands and nurses basis.
