2014 Fees Set for Soldat and Currency Swap

Woodford Thoroughbreds will stand Soldat for $5,000 and Currency Swap for $3,500.

Woodford Thoroughbreds, located near Reddick, Fla., has released the stud fees for its 2014 stallion roster, which includes newcomers Soldat  and Currency Swap.

Soldat, who will enter stud at $5,000, is a multiple graded stakes-winning son of War Front —Le Relais, by Coronado's Quest. His best races included a victory in the Fasig-Tipton Fountain of Youth Stakes (gr. II) and a second-place effort in the 2010 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. IIT).

Currency Swap is a grade I-winning son of High Cotton, who was Florida's leading second-crop sire of 2012, and will stand for $3,500. Bred in Florida by Stonecliff Farm, Currency Swap is out of the Pine Bluff mare, Echo Bluff. He won the 2011 Three Chimneys Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) and the Amsterdam Stakes (gr. II).
