Average Improves at Heritage Place Sale

Gross receipts declined 13.3% to $197,100 compared with last year's sale.

Average improved six percent at this year's Heritage Place Thoroughbred mixed sale Dec. 14 in Oklahoma City, Okla., where 94 horses sold for an average price of $2,097.

Gross receipts reached $197,100, down 13.3 percent compared with last year, which was the first year the sale was conducted.

This year's sale topper was A Warrior Defined, a yearling colt by C'Mon Tiger purchased by Diana Bringhurst for $10,000 from consignor JEH Stallion Station. C'Mon Tiger is out of the winning, stakes-placed Stravinsky mare Inomuff.
