Storms Eye and Europe to Bare Foot Farms

The 7-year-old stallions will each stand in Indiana for $1,000.

Dean Trennepohl and Dan Hanlin have acquired Storms Eye and Europe to stand at their Bare Foot Farms near Bennington, Ind.

Storms Eye is a half brother to grade/group I winners Uapybo and Leroidesanimaux. The latter horse is the sire of 2011 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Animal Kingdom .

A son of Storm CatDissemble, by Ahonoora, Storms Eye will stand for $1,000 in 2014, down from $2,500 last year. The 7-year-old was bred in Kentucky by Indian Creek, Alessandro Arcangeli, and Overbrook Farm.

Europe, a half brother to grade II winner and sire Half Ours , is a 7-year-old son of Unbridled's SongZing, by Storm Cat. The stallion's 2013 fee was $5,000. He will stand for $1,000 in 2014.

Europe was bred in Kentucky by Aaron and Marie Jones and fetched $2.6 million at the 2007 Keeneland September yearling sale.
